I thought this was one of the most beautiful songs when I first heard it. I find it sad that so many youngsters nowadays have no interest in classical music.

Classical music is one of the most lyrical type of music around, and I think Chopin really is the greatest composer around. It is like chinese I think, just like how simple wordings in chinese can seem so etheral and hart-wrenching. Which is why I like Jay Chou's songs, not for his low frequency like singing, but for the beautiful lyrics of his songs.

This is Chopin's Etude Op 10 no 3, by Valentina Igoshina.

Just try and listen. And you won't regret having done so =)

Taiwanese author Ji Mi, or Jimmy, is a master of eloquent yet simple writing. He shows exactly how a picture can speak a thousand words through his beautifully illustrated books, and when needed, evoked emotions through his simply phrased words.

I am not ashamed to say that after reading, and during, I would even find tears misting in my eyes. I am not a person who cries easily. So I think that really says alot about how wonderful Ji Mi's works are.

I was re-reading Meeting You In Dreamscape (shown below) and I felt so sad I had to stop halfway.

There are a few books I have my eye on, namely Turn left turn right, Di Xia Tie (Subway) and Bluestone below. Haha, poor Sou Mun has agreed to buy the books for me and Yiling when she goes to hol in Taiwan this december. =D I can't wait =)

I discovered that I tend to hog the books I love all to myself. Selfish of me, but yeeaaaahhhh =) Books are my life. LOL.
